  4. Here are the files from the Acorn distribution disk.

  6. They were originally organised into four directories, C, H, S, and W.
  7. Anyone using C on the Archimedes will understand the reason for this !

  9. To compile, exec the Makescr file.  However, there is a problem.  To
  10. assemble rs423.s and produce the panos library, you need the Acorn
  11. assembler, which is a pity since they havn't released it yet !

  21. Archimedes Kermit as released by Acorn does work...
  22. the reason I had so much trouble was that you cannot set the stop bits from
  23. inside kermit, and the OS defaults to 2 stop bits... which took me far longer
  24. than it should have to work out.
