- Subject: Compiling Problem
-
- Here are the files from the Acorn distribution disk.
-
- They were originally organised into four directories, C, H, S, and W.
- Anyone using C on the Archimedes will understand the reason for this !
-
- To compile, exec the Makescr file. However, there is a problem. To
- assemble rs423.s and produce the panos library, you need the Acorn
- assembler, which is a pity since they havn't released it yet !

- Subject: Kermit for the Archimedes
-
- Archimedes Kermit as released by Acorn does work...
- the reason I had so much trouble was that you cannot set the stop bits from
- inside kermit, and the OS defaults to 2 stop bits... which took me far longer
- than it should have to work out.
